We recommend booking flights and accommodations asap!

The easiest way to reach Lake Como is by flying directly into Milan, Italy which has two major airports:

- Milan Malpensa (MXP): largest international airport, 45 min to Como by car.

- Milan Linate (LIN): smaller airport, 1 hour to Como by car.

Once you land in Milan, you can choose what is most comfortable:

- Car or Taxi: fastest and most convenient, you can either hail a taxi outside the airport or book one in advance with Uber for a ~45 minute ride.

- Train from Milan Centrale Station: take the Malpensa Express Train to Milan Centrale (~50min) then transfer to a Trenitalia or Trenord train to Como Nord Lago or Como San Giovanni (~40min).

- By Car: taxis are limited--its best to prebook your rides by using apps like Uber or InTaxi. Plan to wait ~10-20 minutes for a taxi pickup if you call without pre-booking.

- By Boat: this is the most charming way to travel between towns. Public ferries are quite affordable but private boat tours can be arranged for a more personal experience.

- By Foot: Many villages like Cernobbio, Como and Bellagio are small and walkable with cobblestone streets and beautiful promenades.

We have a room block at the Hilton Lake Como which is a 5 minute walk to the welcome event and recovery brunch and we will be providing transportation to and from this hotel for the wedding day.

If you do not prefer to stay at the Hilton, we suggest staying in Cernobbio or Como to stay close to the wedding event venues. There are many beautiful hotels and Airbnbs in the area.
